Full name: Jacob Bunk Nielsen
Born in 1979.
I live in Smørum near Copenhagen with my wife.

Education

2010 - 2014	Studied business administration at Copenhagen Business School. I specialized in organisation and management and wrote my exam project about a new organization in a pharmaceutical logistics company in Denmark.
1998 - 2005	Studied computer science at The technical university of Denmark. I wrote my master's thesis with the Networks department at COM (Center for Communitation, Optics and Materials).
1995 - 1998	3 years at Rungsted Gymnasium (in danish).
1985 - 1995	10 years at Hummeltofteskolen in Sorgenfri north of Copenhagen.

Work

04.18 -		Team Manager at One.com. I try my best to make business and technology meet in a way that makes sense for everyone. As part of the Systems Engineering department we build many of the services loved by our more than 1,4 million customers.
04.17 - 03.18		Senior Data Engineer at Think Big Analytics. I helped some of the largest companies in our part of the world get the most from their (big) data.
06.14 - 03.17		Software Integration Engineer at One.com - As part of the Core team, I helped develop the next generation backend infrastructure for the One.com website and supporting systems. This involved planning for scalability and a lot of coordination with all the different stake holders.
01.09 - 05.14		(Senior) IT Systems developer at Novozymes - I developed a database system that enables researchers to keep track of their research data.
02.02 -		Owner of Bunk Consulting, a small company doing various consultancy work when I have the time and someone believes that I can help them. Contact me if you believe I can help you with anything.
09.05 - 01.08		Software Engineer at Exiqon in the bioinformatics department. Did development (Java, PHP, C), project management and system administration of Linux servers.
10.03 - 02.07		Cashier and board member of Polyteknisk Motorcykelforening (PMC) (unpaid)
03.03 - 05.05		Gave 12 introductory courses and one advanced course about LaTeX at DTU. My career in LaTeX ended in May 2005 as I finished my masters degree shortly after.
08.02 - 09.05		Systems administrator and programmer at Exiqon in the department for biomolecular informatics.
03.01 - 11.01		Programmer at NTV Communications A/S doing various customization and development of our own content management system written in PHP.
01.00 - 01.01		Studenthelper at the IT-department of Garban-Intercapital in Copenhagen.
09.99 - 03.01		Tutor for new students at DTU for two years in a row in the fall semesters of 1999 and 2000.
06.98 - 07.98		Summerholliday working with IT at SEB.
02.97 - 06.98		IT-support etc. at Rungsted Gymnasium while I went to school there.
